freja sofie kirk
Born in 1990, Denmark
Lives and works in Copenhagen and Berlin
Working across photography, video and installation, Freja Sofie Kirk explores the image as a space of tension, where power, desire and absurdity intersect. Through juxtaposition, she brings together seemingly contradictory gestures, bodies and situations , often drawing on the cinematic. Her work examines the subtle power dynamics embedded within looking, while remaining attentive to the strange qualities of everyday life.
